Halifax-based engineering firm the 600 Group has opened its new European Technology Centre as it expands its international reach.
Located in Heckmondwike, the facility features open plan offices, manufacturing and warehousing space. It will form the group's global headquarters as well as serving as its new European Technology Centre. The site will also enable the company to showcase its product range in a dedicated year-round product showroom, demonstration and customer training capability.
The firm said the opening of the new facility marks a step forward in its commitment to creating a more flexible platform from which to promote its brands and win market share in diversified niche markets around the world.
