Department for International Trade
The Department for International Trade (DIT) is responsible for promoting British trade across the world and ensuring the UK takes advantage of the huge opportunities open to us. We encourage and support businesses to export and help to identify key opportunities for their business. In the Yorkshire and the Humber region we have over 20 International Trade and e-Commerce advisers who support local businesses with face-to-face meetings along with dedicated and impartial advice.

‘Exporting for Growth’ Funding and Support
Exporting for Growth is aimed at companies wanting to develop their international business or get started with international trade. Eligible businesses can apply for grants from a minimum of £1,000 as part of the Exporting for Growth programme which is match funded and can be used for various projects. In addition to the funding, companies will receive impartial and tailored advice from one of our International Trade Advisers who will be happy to assist you throughout the process and project.
