An executive search firm based in Leeds is targeting global expansion after acquiring a boutique appointments competitor.
Hudson James Human Capital merged with Vitae Selection last year and has now rebranded as Monocle International.
The merger enabled Hudson James Human Capital Group to double in both turnover and headcount, immediately growing to a team of 24. Its combined turnover is now around £2m.
The group will now focus on communicating the strengths of its combined cohorts, to generate further strategic expansion and grow the existing network that stretches over 20 countries.
Dan Spurr, founder and group managing director, comments: “Ultimately, our mission is to create an internationally respected, modern leadership brand that supports organisations to ensure they are ready for the future.
“Prior to the merger both firms had a similar business outlook and commonality across markets. These shared strengths have led the group to establish a dynamic yet successfully cohesive culture together as one. The rebrand is a pinnacle of this journey and testament to the hard work of the people within it.”
