MS International acquires Dutch firm

Doncaster-based manufacturing group MS International has expanded with the acquisition of a business in the Netherlands.

Established in 1935, Armada Janse specialises in designing, manufacturing and installing illuminated advertising, signage, media facades, creative lighting and public illumination.

For the financial year to the end of December 2018, the company recorded revenue of €4.82m (£4.27m) and made pre-tax profits of €33,000 (£29,250).

Petrol Sign, a wholly owned subsidiary of MS International, has acquired the Dutch firm from Armada Group in a deal worth €339,000 (£300,430).

MS International said the acquisition would strengthen its position within the petrol station branding market. As a result of the deal, the group’s 'Petrol Station Branding Division' will be renamed the 'Corporate Brandings Division'.
