Life sciences business OptiBiotix Health has signed an agreement for Extensor to act as a distributor for its obesity-tackling products in Poland, and has also secured an initial order.
Extensor will be the exclusive distributor of the York company’s GoFigure weight management products in Poland as part of OptiBiotrix’s strategy to continue to build its presence in international markets.
As part of the agreement, Extensor will be able to import, market and distribute the OptiBiotrix range of meal replacements and snacks which contain its SlimBiome products to help tackle obesity and diabetes.
Well-known Polish brand Extensor was established over 19 years ago to offer products in the health and wellness sector and in 2002, the company introduced high-protein supplements to the Polish market. It has established an extensive distribution network across Poland, selling its products through multiple on-line channels, wholesalers and retail outlets.
Christina Wood, sales & marketing director at OptiBiotix commented: “We are pleased to announce this exclusive distribution deal for the commercialisation of our GoFigure products in the Polish market.
“This is part of a commercial strategy of working across multiple levels of the value chain (manufacturer, formulator and distributor) for the supply of white label and own label branded products.
“This is the first step in taking OptiBiotix’s own label GoFigure products to international markets.”
